Antigone

Antigone is a cleverly designed play that takes tragedy to a whole new level. The play starts off with Antigone and her sister talking about their brother, who is being used as an example by Creon. Antigone has decided that she will bury their dead brother even if it’s against Creon’s direct orders that he shall not be buried. Antigone is a strong, brave, and stubborn person. She feels that she is being deprived of one of her few rights as a woman by not being allowed to bury her brother. When she is finally caught performing the burial and brought to Creon, Antigone doesn’t show any fear of death.

There are those times when you take a stand and you don’t get those desired results. This story teaches us that we have to be ready for those times and to except the results no matter what.

Taking a stand

The time I took a stand on something is when I stood up for a friend. I was hanging out with some friends, we were just joking around and poking fun at each other. Well that lead to everyone nagging one of my friends. this went on for sometime, and i finialy stood up and staid stop.
