Ceaser

Did Brutus show leadership, when he lead the murder of his good friend, Caesar? Cassius brought Brutus into the plot because he thought Brutus would convince more people that the murder of Caesar was just. People considered Brutus to be a man of "honor." Being a man of honor, Brutus was thought to be a good leader.

Leadership has been described as "the process of social influence in which one person is able to enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task." According to this quote,Brutus is a leader. He convinced the common people that the murder was right. Brutus sees Marc Anthony as a powerful allie. But it back fires on Brutus. Convincing the crowd, Marc Anthony shows the same type of leadership that Brutus has shown.

In my opinion, neither one was truly a leader. Their actions do not portray their beliefs. If the odds were against them, they would say what was necessary to get them out of trouble. They wanted only to gain power and not be a good leader by leading the crowd to do the right thing.

7 habibts of highly effective teens

The habit that I'm going to write about is Habit 4. This habit talks about the four kinds of personalities. The win-lose attitude, is when you are competing with each other to see who is better. This is good for sports or events that need competitiveness, but not for trying to out do one another. In the lose-win attitude you are basically "the door mat" as the author, Sean Covey, puts it. You would rather just give them what they want rather than fight about it. Like when I argue with my parents, sometimes its just easier to give up than to push my point. In some cases this is good, but it can really lower your self-esteem. An attitude full of malice is considered a lose-lose attitude. People with this attitude feel that "if I'm going down, your coming with me." Being at war is an example of this attitude. Harming another person so you can have your way is never good. The last attitude type is win-win. Trying to find an answer, that solves the problem without a big fight, often means both sides have to compromise. Giving in to my sister, I agreed to take turns riding in the front seat insead of fighting about it every time we went somewhere together.

7 habits of highly effective teens

The chapter, habit two, of this book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, that I'm writing about is beginning with the end in mind(habit 2). Like right now, I've began this blog with the end in mind, and that is to get my parents off my back. This chapter, habits as the author Sean Covey refers to them, discusses why it is important to start planning ahead. Not to far ahead. Just a few years. It doesn't have to be about your career or were you are going for college, but like your Senior year in high school or getting all A's on your report card. After you have picked a goal, you will need to read habit 3.
